‘James has spent the past eight years experimenting with Italian varieties well suited to Australian soils and climates. This rose is made from Negroamaro, which comes from the sustainably-farmed 'Box Grove' vineyard in Nagambie Lakes.’
The Wine
‘Gently pressed with a portion fermented in Slavonian cask, it shows plenty of lifted high-tone fruits such as cranberry and fresh-picked cherry. Juicy and textured with tangy salinity and a savoury/amaro-like finish. Utterly delicious and exactly how (I think) rose should be.’
